    Phase 1 — Private Pilot

    Recieve and log flight training in preparation for solo flight, and in the areas of flight proficiency and aeronautical experience for a private pilot, airplane single-engine (ASEL) certificate to include pre/post ground instruction.

    Student flight proficiency and aeronautical experience solo flights.

    Additional ground instruction preparation for the private pilot aeronautical knowledge test and practical test (checkride).

    Flight portion of the practical test (checkride)
    Passing of the checkride completes phase 1 of the professional pilot program.
    Phase 2 — Instrument Rating

    Cross-country flight time as pilot in command to meet the aeronautical experience for an instrument-airplane rating per part 61.65(d)(1).
    The additional 8 hours of cross-country flight time to meet the to aeronautical experience requirement will be part of the instrument rating flight training.

    Receive and log flight training in the flight proficiency and aeronautical experience areas for the instrument-airplane rating to include pre/post ground instruction.

    Instrument training using an FAA approved flight training device (FTD).

    Phase 3 — Commercial Pilot

    Passing of the commercial pilot airplane signal-engine checkride completes phase 3A of the professional pilot program.
    Phase 3B — Commercial Pilot Airplane Multi-Engine

    Flight training in a multi-engine aircraft in the flight proficiency areas for a commercial pilot airplane multi-engine certificate.
    Includes high-performance aircraft endorsement.

Individual skills, weather, other factors may extend training. There is no guarantee in completion of training in the minimum time required.
